APC Homes Spring 2006 newsletter
Dear Visitor
Thank you for your interest in APC Homes and welcome to our new website.
The anticipated downturn of the UK property market that many were predicting towards the end of 2005 did not materialise and 2006 is proving to be very busy with properties selling across the board in the Hampshire and Dorset area when realistically priced.
At the beginning of 2006 APC Homes completed a block of four flats overlooking Weymouth golf course called The Fairways and started two projects, Kingfisher Court at Goldcroft Avenue, Weymouth and a small mews development of houses in James Road, Dorchester.
Kingfisher Court comprises 7 flats with fantastic views over Radipole Lake, which all sold over the first sales weekend, off plan by our Estate Agents Alder King. The project was originally going to be called Lake View but Mrs. Burt, a nearby neighbour who had lived at her address for over 40 years had already claimed the name. We invited the local Weymouth schools to think of a new name and Reece Merrifield came up trumps with Kingfisher Court. His name is inscribed on the nameplate and he also won a computer for his school, Bincombe Valley School.
James Close proved to be a similar story with all 5 houses being sold off plan by our Estate Agents Domvs. As we move into the second half of 2006 APC Homes will be starting 3 new projects, 2 of which are still in the planning process.
- A pair of flats on the corner of Abbotsbury Road & Dennis Road, which will be called The Triangle.
- A pair of flats at Putton Close, Chickerell.
- A block of four flats adjacent to The Fairways, Cumberland drive, Weymouth.
These projects will all be aimed at the first time buyer market with a very special purchase incentive of £200 per month going towards the purchasers monthly mortgage payment for 2 years. This is going to make the repayments very affordable and needless to say we expect to sell these units off plan so please call our office at your earliest convenience to register your interest.
We are always looking for land opportunities in the Dorset area, especially in Weymouth and Dorchester, so please contact us if you have anything interesting that you may be thinking of selling.
Yours sincerely
Andrew Niven
